Systems Analyst, Supply Chain
ForeOptics is seeking a Business Process Analyst to work with ForeOptics leadership to deliver Supply Chain Management Solutions to ForeOptics’ clients. The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the entire Supply Chain process including the interpretation, integration, and management of information that is contained within and extracted from data systems. This individual should fully understand the complete life cycle of data generation of Supply Chain Planning and assist our team in meeting the Clients’ goals.
Responsibilities & Job Functions
Communicate with all stakeholders of the end-to-end Supply Chain planning process to document and outline process needs and data requirements
Create processes, workflows and procedures for data entry and system use within Supply Chain Management
Model both dashboards and reports, interpret data, and make recommendations to team
Provide analytical support as needed throughout the engagement
Analyze existing trends and procedures to continuously improve efficiencies within Supply Chain processes
Manage various databases while maintaining the integrity of sensitive data
Mine large databases and analyze information extracted from software systems
Provides training and support for system users to ensure efficient and accurate use
Detect and resolve discrepancies
Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage to develop new strategies and improve business performance
Provide recommendations and strategies to support system and process maturity over time while concurrently supporting a fast-paced business; develop and deploy short-term system solutions while designing and implementing long-term solutions
Recommend data storage, analysis, and reporting platforms in alignment with the client’s system and process maturity level
Engage in productive engagements with software developers to build solutions as needed
Education, Experience, Qualifications
Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately.
Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Strong data collection, analysis, validation and auditing skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Computer Science/Business Analytics preferred
5yrs+ experience in a Data Analyst role required
3yrs+ experience with CRM software, preferably HubSpot, required
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as calendar management and general technology is required
Experience in Aerospace & Defense preferred
Demonstrated experience in translating design of supply change processes to system & data maps, need to support the process
