Global Supply Chain Management Planning Manager
The Global Supply Chain Management Material Planning Manager supports the GSCM, Tech Ops and Finance Departments by establishing, implementing and enforcing an inventory stocking level policy. This role is responsible for maintaining the ownership levels of all rotable, repairable, expendable and consumable aircraft parts and taking appropriate action to maintain the balance between inventory, operational performance and financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Define, implement and utilize cost-effective forecasting models and tools.
Maximize existing inventory management system functionality for inventory planning, tracking and reporting.
Establish rotable, repairable, expendable and consumable inventory levels for multiple stocking locations.
Determine the appropriate station allocation, min/max, reorder point, safety stock and economic order quantities for consumable, expendable and repairable inventory.
Determine parameters for reorder point and safety stock calculations and monitor system generated levels for relevance and effectiveness.
Manage Material Planning personnel and distribute workload as appropriate.
Produce periodic recurring reports detailing inventory performance in accordance with financial objectives.
Support the aircraft regeneration operation, scheduled maintenance events and line maintenance at contract locations.
Oversee the cross-functional strategic planning process to align with long term demand and supply (S&OP).
Ensure compliance with ITAR requirements as well as all import/export actions.
Ensure accountability of all logistics documents; physically and systematically.

Education, Experience, Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis or Business Administration preferred
Working knowledge of:
Independent and Dependent Demand Forecasting techniques
Supply Chain Management
ATA Chapters and aircraft parts and systems
Demonstrated oral and written communication and organizational skills
Demonstrate leadership abilities and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this position with a positive attitude toward productivity, safety and quality of maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge and application of performance metrics
Have a thorough understanding of:
Aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
Able to obtain and maintain “Secret” security clearance
Valid, current Driver’s License required
Must be willing to relocate to Fort Worth, TX area
Preferred Qualifications:
Five years of experience related to aviation logistics and inventory
Experience working with inventory management software
Past military experience a plus
