Global Supply Chain Management Systems & Processes Manager

The Global Supply Chain Management Systems and Processes Manager is the primary GSCM department resource for the Company’s Maintenance and Inventory software system configuration, training and enhancement. This position is responsible for GSCM process documentation, training, ongoing performance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Serve as Flightdocs and Cost Point software system expert for all aspects of supply chain management including but not limited to part master, inventory locations, purchasing and component repair order management, parts tracking, records and reporting

Document all materials related processes and identify non-value-added activities for reduction/elimination

Develop and maintain system training material and relevant guidance

Working with the GSCM Logistics leadership, develop and implement an inventory excellence program to achieve and maintain +99% system accuracy

Provide initial and recurrent training to all materials organization users

Document and resolve Materials Management related system abnormalities as they occur

Interface with IT and Flightdocs technical support for trouble reporting/resolution, system upgrades, new releases, change management and user training development

Leverage Flightdocs for all performance and process improvement

Serve as department lead for Flightdocs users’ group

Ensure all GSCM user compliance

Develop and implement reporting tools and metrics in partnership with Material Planning, Purchasing and IT

Produce recurring periodic reports detailing inventory performance in accordance with financial objectives

Demonstrate interdepartmental teamwork with proven leadership skills

Support GSCM Logistics department with warehouse optimization initiatives

Develop methodologies to optimize distribution of material through logistics/transportation hub concepts and ensure superior performance

Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Information Technology preferred. Master’s Degree in appropriate emphasis a plus

ERP system implementation and technical experience will be considered for education equivalency

PMP, Lean and Six Sigma Certification a plus

Working knowledge of:

Maintenance & Engineering software systems

Supply Chain Management

Process improvement

Aircraft maintenance processes

Demonstrated oral and written communication and organizational skills

Qualified through training, experience and expertise to perform the duties of the position

Demonstrate leadership abilities and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this position with a positive attitude toward productivity, safety and quality of maintenance

Have a thorough understanding of the following:

Aviation safety standards and safe operating practices

ITAR requirements

Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Company manuals, and Company procedures

Hold a valid state issued driver’s license

Able to obtain and maintain “Secret” security clearance

Must be willing to relocate to Fort Worth, TX area

Preferred Qualifications:

APICS/ASCM certification as CPIM or CSCP

Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

Five years’ aviation logistics and inventory management experience

Experience working with inventory management software

Past military experience a plus

Travel
