Inventory Planning Analyst
ForeOptics is seeking a Inventory Planning Analyst to join our Supply Chain Transformation team. The Inventory Planning Analyst will work with the team in designing, and deploying etc. ForeOptics framework, work across cellos that may exist within the client’s organization.
Responsibilities
Conducts daily activities to ensure materials are available on time to meet production and customer commitment dates while adhering to key planning parameters.
Uses rigorous analysis to optimize material availability, inventory levels, and safety stock.
Ensures that all action/exception messages are prioritized, reviewed and problems are acted upon in a timely manner.
Reviews and executes purchase recommendations, obtains appropriate authorization, and submits to suppliers for procurement of goods. Partners with vendors to obtain product or service information such as prices, availability, and delivery schedule.
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, and product specifications.
Evaluates supplies based on performance, price, quality and service.
Works cross functionally to improve and sustain performance of suppliers. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection of quality control personnel, users, vendors and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Returns non-conforming, defective products. Follows-up on credits.
Approves invoices for payment and validates receipt of materials.
Collaborates with logistics partners to schedule material deliveries. Investigates and develops new supply sources.
Achieves cost and service goals.
Maintains an ongoing focus on stability, service, inventory, and supply chain efficiencies while developing, implementing, and overseeing the strategy and execution of material.
Operates to maintain ISO qualification standards.
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Education, Experience, Qualifications
Skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting various reports and documents.
Skilled in presenting issues clearly and concisely.
Skilled in generating accurate analysis, with a good understanding of the cause and effect that will occur with each alternative solution both inside and outside of the Supply Chain organization.
Experience working and participating in cross-functional decision-making processes with all levels and functions within the company.
Skilled in applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory of factor analysis.
Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of data related to various situations dealing with both abstract and concrete variables.
Skilled in presenting information to supervisors and teams.
At minimum, must have Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of supply chain, production, operations, or financial analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 6 years supply chain, production, operations, or financial analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
