Supply Chain Manager
ForeOptics is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain Design and Implementation team. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing an effective Supply Chain design for ForeOptics’ clients. The Supply Chain Manager will establish solutions to drive self-correcting continuous improvement in overall part availability while minimizing inventory investment. Being a highly collaborative role in nature, the Supply Chain Manager will need to seek buy-in and gain commitment from key stakeholders including senior leadership and all stakeholders within ForeOptics and the client. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with tactical hands-on planning, ERP/MRP systems and supply chain network planning, translation of process design into system technical specifications, organizational development, and overall process transformation.
Responsibilities
Responsible for working with ForeOptics and Client stakeholders to design and implement an end-to-end supply chain planning process for the client
Responsible for developing and implementing an optimized inventory network that maximizes part availability and minimizes inventory investment
Responsible for team members to successfully define systematic requirements in the end-to-end supply chain design to guide technology solutions identification, implementation, and testing
Recommend and design KPIs, dashboard, and analytics depicting Supply Chain process health and potential risk areas
Support training and coaching of client team members in the adoption of the supply chain design
Work dynamically to support the immediate short-term needs of the client with interim solutions while concurrently working to establish the long-term solution
Delivers methodology to monitor and maintain end-to-end planning data integrity
Education, Experience, Qualifications
Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately
Must be an excellent leader to manage and lead teams
Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
Very strong data collection, analysis, validation, and auditing skills relating to end-to-end planning and business management activities
A strong sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
Min of 5 yrs experience in a Supply Chain or Operations role required
Min of 3 yrs experience in a consulting role preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office as well as calendar management and general technology is required
Very high level of proficiency with MS Excel required
Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP planning software packages
Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or EMS strongly preferred
