Warehouse Logistics Technician
The warehouse logistics technician will work at company’s warehouse with the physical inventory team.
Responsibilities
Maintains accountability and condition of tools and test equipment
Maintains Maintenance Support desk for tool/equipment distribution and accountability in accordance with policies and procedures
Implements tool control policies by marking, issuing and tracking tools in data base
Assists with management of the calibration program for equipment within support
Conducts warehouse stocking, organizing and establishing of new locations as needed
Stocks unserviceable parts in designated warehouse; establishing locations in computer systems
Responsible for receiving, turn-ins, packing and shipping actions
Generate Purchase Orders within computer systems from unfilled inventory requests
Process all incoming/outgoing material, both physically and systematically in computer systems
Verify items received by comparing document to part/serial number, condition and quantity
Ensure compliance with import/export actions
Monitor and maintain HAZMAT and HAZWASTE materials in accordance with DOD and
Environmental policies
Supports strategic supply chain direction by understanding and applying company policies, operating procedures and IT solutions
Ensures accountability of all logistics documents; physically and systematically
Education, Experience, Qualifications
High school diploma required
Must speak, read, write and understand English
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in supply/support activities
Proven understanding of property accountability procedures
Must be able to source and maintain proper Safety Data Sheets
Must be willing to travel up to 30%
Obtain/maintain secret security clearance
Must possess a current/valid U.S. driver’s license
Must be able to workday shift, night shift, weekend shifts and/or travel as part of a team
Professional appearance and conduct with customers, vendors and other employees
Must have a working knowledge of basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight-line. Extensive sitting, climbing, lifting, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching and walking will be required

Special vision abilities required are close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands
Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depths
May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft
May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft
